Ms. Annie Mary Smith, was born October 3, 1934 to the late Fallie and Elnora Smith. She went home to be with the Lord on July 16, 2017.

She was a native of Guilford County and graduated from Laughlin School. She also attended NC AT State University. She worked and retired from Cone Mills and went back to work at Well-Springs Retiredment Community and retired June 30, 2017 after 16 years because of a short illness.

She loved the Lord and was dedicated to doing his work. She was a member of Holy Temple Holy United Church for 35 years, where she served as the President of the Gospel Choir, Senior Choir, Missionary Department and the Kitchen Aid Department. She was the lead coordinator for the Church Outreach Mission at Arbor Care Nursing Home. She was a former member of Faith, Hope and Charity Holiness Church. Everything she did, it was always unto the Lord and she enjoyed giving of her time and her nurturing nature to others.

She was preceded in deceded in death by her four brothers, Vanderbilt, Odie John Willie, James and three sisters, Hattie Bell, Doreatha, and Alice Marie.

Left to treasure loving memories are three children Vanessa Kay Smith of Atlanta, GA, Darryl Smith (Sharon) and Loretta (Dino) both of Greensboro, NC four grandchildern, five greatgrand children and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
