Ms. Eva Cobb Gates, passed away on Sunday August 20, 2023. A celebration of life will be held on Friday August 25, 2023 at East White Oak Baptist Church 1815 Water Street Greensboro NC. Visitation will be held from 11:30 - 12: 00 noon / pm with service at 12: noon. The Gates family will receive guest at the funeral at Allen and Associates Mortuary Cremation/Chapel 508 Summit Ave. Greensboro NC on Thursday August 24, 2023 from 2-6 pm. The Gates family is asking everyone to make donation (s) to the funeral home instead of flowers. The Gates Family has entrusted the funeral services to Allen and Associates Mortuary Cremation, LLC.

Eva, was a graduate of Dudley High School / class of 1962. She was the assistance office manger for Allen and Associates Mortuary Cremation and one of the notaries on the staff. Eva held this position for 15 years until her health decline but still she tried to continue her duties with out every complaining. Eva adopted Donald , Al, Brittany Betty, and Ron, John, and her best of friend Henry Thomas as her children and we gladly accepted. Through the year we grew as a family with one another and endure the good times and the bad time but God brought us through it all and give more joy than one could ever imagine. As mother Eva leave us but not forgotten she leaves this message, "Don't weep for me. For I've made it home., Through Heavens gates. There I may roam. Love Eva.
