Helen Elizabeth Smith, affectionately known as "Miss Cookie" Passed away on June 9, 2017. She was born on September 1, 1928 in Morristown, New Jersey. She is preceded in death by her husband Donald "Sid" Smith and her father, Mr. William Cook, Mother, Ovella Locks, a son Donald "Shot" Smith and a son, David Smith. Left to mourn her passing are her devoted daughters Delores "Sissy Horsley, Deborah Jones,  and Michele Newberry. She had (6) grandson, Robbie King, NJ Donnie Smith Stokes, IL, Keith Brooks,NJ, David Holmes-Smith, NJ, Christopher Newberry NM, and Anthony Smith, NJ, (1) granddaughter, Lelia Jones, NC, and (11) great grandchildren. Many cousins, co-worker and freinds.  Special recognition: Jonnie James Wilkerson and Joanne Sandelli. Goddaughter, Frances Jackson and devoted caregiver, Kathy McClure. She lived in Morristown New Jersey most of her life and for the the past few years she lived in Greensboro, North Carolina with her Daughters. She retired from the Morris View Nursing Home Center in Morris County, New Jersey. We the family wish to thank you for your prayers and kind gestures. We would like fro you to trust and believe that she had an absolutely great life.
