Ms. Joyce Laverne Smith, passed away on Tuesday January 10, 2023. A home going celebration will be held on Saturday January 14, 2023 at Allen and Associates Mortuary Cremation/Chapel 508 Summit Ave. Greensboro NC. Visitation with the family will began at 12:30 - 1:00 pm followed by the service at 1:00 pm. A internment will be held in Livingston Texas at a later date.

Our mother was very determined and focused on what needed to be done as a mother. She nurtured, provided and endured to keep a loving home. She is like a angel and the beauty showed.What ever she went through it was with strength and love.

We, the Smith family would like to thank our grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins. friends and others who helped mom take care of us and who took care of our mother during her life.
