Evangelist, Mary Elizabeth Buchanan, passed away on June 29, 2021.  A celebration of  life will be held on Saturday July 17, 2021 at Allen and Associates Mortuary Cremation / Chapel 508 Summit Ave. Greensboro NC. Visitation hour with the family will began at 12:00  - 1:00 pm with the reflection of life service at !:00pm.  The service and family is entrusted to Allen and Associates Mortuary Cremation.

Evangelist Mary Buchanan, after a 6 month stay at the Siler City Center, Siler City NC, transitioned from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Tuesday June 29, 2021 while at the hospice home in High Point - Hospice of the Piedmont, NC.  Affectionately known by family members as "Aunt Beth" or "Cousin Beth". She was born in Raleigh NC to Ray T. Matthews and Mary Elizabeth Dunn Matthews and was the middle child of three children; Lisa, Mary Elizabeth, and Ray.  Both of her siblings have preceded her in death.  Evangelist spent sixty-five years loving God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit and cherished her son, Jimmy Buchanan, her family, her church family, her friends, and her community.

Mary accepted the call to Christian ministry as a evangelist under her mother, Evangelist Mary Elizabeth Matthews and assisted her mother with Soul Serenade Christian Ministries.
