On the evening of June 25, 2026, Deaconess Ruth V. George transitioned from this life at Willington Oaks Memory Care facility in Greensboro, North Carolina.

There will be a funeral service held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 1pm at Mt. Olivet AME Zion Church, 2123 McConnell Road, Greensboro, NC 27401. Family Visitation will be held from 12:30-1pm.
