Mr. Stephen Durrell Townsend (Face, Debo) was born on April 5, 1985. His earthly journey was cut short on Friday, October 1, 2010.

Stephen attended Grimsley High School, and later returned to complete his GED. He was employed with D. H. Griffin Company in Greensboro, North Carolina. He loved his family dearly and will be sorely missed.

Stephen was preceded in death by his grandfather, Mr. Willie C. Townsend, and uncle, Willie Lee Townsend, Jr.

He leaves to cherish precious memories; his daughter, Steniya Townsend, Mother, Barbara Jean Townsend; Father, Roy Lee Thomas; Grandmother, Rosita Townsend; brothers, Malik Q. Ramirez and Roy Lee Thomas; sisters, Safye Townsend and La Doris Ross, all of Greensboro, North Carolina. Also left to cherish precious memories are eight aunts, four uncles, one nephew and a host of cousins, other relatives and dear friends. Stephen also leaves behind his fiancee, Ms. Leslie Maddox, and special friends, Terrell Hipp, Quentin, Brian, Pete, and Jr.
