Obituary
Deacon Walter W. Martin, a lifetime resident of Greensboro, NC died on September 10, 2012 at Moses H. Cone Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 1 p.m. at St. James Baptist Church, 536 W. Florida Street. The visitation will be from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park.
Deacon Martin was a faithful member of St.James for over 55 years, serving as a Deacon, as well as transportation chairman. He was also a skilled painter.
He is survived by two sons; Deacon Walter O. Martin (Cynthia), of Conover,NC., Jeffrey Martin (Juanita), of Greensboro. One sister, Ms. Marie M. Banks, of Greensboro. Seven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren. Special friend, Monetz Bates.
The family will assemble at 1207 Alamance Church Road.
