Mr. Winfred Lee Bumper, of 1509 S. Benbow Road, died on July 10, 2012 at Moses Cone Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 18, 2012 at 1 p.m. at New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 1105 Willow Road. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park.

A native of Alamance County, he was formerly employed with Duke Power, as a Distribution Lineman.

He is survived by his loving, devoted wife, Mrs. Barbara E. Bumper, of the home; one son, Winfred "Monty" Bumper (Maria), of Marietta, Georgia. Two brothers; Billy Ray Bumper (Wanda), of Oxford, NC., and Wayne D. Bumper, of Bayboro, NC. Three grandchildren. One aunt, Clastine Leath, of Burlington, NC., one uncle, Jimmie Leath (Mary Alice), of Brooklyn, NC.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the church, from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m.
