Donald Lewis Richardson

On December 8th, 2020, God beckoned and angel to Camden Health and Rehabilitation. He needed to add to his garden so the angel picked a distinguished flower by the name of Donald Lewis Richardson. The Flower's petals (earth body) began to wither so GOD said to come on to my Heavenly Garden where you can blossom forever more. Donald Lewis Richardson, the son of the late Minnie Neal Richardson and Howard Lee Richardson was born July 19, 1957 in Greensboro, NC. 

At a young age of 14, Donald loss his mother and his dear sister Ruthie and Charlie Rodgers took him in and raised him as if he was their son. Donald became the son they never had and he loved them both dearly as his second parents. Donald attended Guilford County Schools and graduated from Smith High School, Class of 1976. Donald also loved putting puzzles together as a hobby. He was a faithful employee at Moses Cone Hospital before he became ill. Donald is preceded in death by his parents Minnie Neal and Howard Lee Richardson, three bothers Fletcher Johnson, James Johnson, Wesley Richardson and two sisters, Frances Johnson and Beverly Monroe. 

Donald leaves behind three sisters, Ruthie Rodgers (Charlie), Rebecca Burch, and Felicia "Lisa" Richardson. One brother Howard Richardson (Linda) and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 

Homegoing Celebration for Donald Lewis Richardson will be held on Saturday December 12th, 2020 at 11:00am. Graveside service at Proximity Mills Cemetery 2009 Phillips Avenue, Greensboro, NC. Family will receive guests at 10:45 am - 11:00 am followed by service at 11:00 am. Professional Service Entrusted to: Allen & Associates Mortuary/Cremation.
